The Environmental Engineering Club will host Professional Engineer Katie Richardson on April 10 in room 150 of 1410 Engineering Drive. This event is open to all students, and food will be provided.
Katie will share insights from her work experience and an exciting new water supply program in Waukesha that she’s working on.
Katie has 19 years of experience; the last 11 years have been working with utilities. She has program management experience on major programs that have included significant public outreach components as well as having completed hydraulic calculations, prepared detailed design drawings for water and wastewater treatment process facilities and conveyance systems, and served as field technician to evaluate the construction progress for water and wastewater systems. Ms. Richardson is also the Chair of AWWA’s Water Equation committee which focuses on raising funds to support workforce development initiatives in the water industry as well as community engineering corps projects in underserved areas in the United States.
