Gross’ research within the areas of Optimization and Control as well as Energy Systems is focused on grid stability and control as the world shifts to renewable energy generation. As a faculty member of WISPO – Wisconsin Power Systems he works with other ECE faculty members, and graduate and undergraduate students to research electric power systems monitoring, optimization and control.
