Drawing from his expertise as seen in the PBS NOVA documentary Building Pharaoh’s Chariots, Professor Sandor will discuss the key aspects of this ancient sport in Roman times, including Lew Wallace’s portrayal in his iconic novel Ben-Hur. Discover what the film adaptations got right – and what they got wrong.
