CEE alumnus Weisberg rises to executive role at PML LLC

University of Wisconsin-Madison civil and environmental engineering alumnus Scott Weisberg has been promoted to a leading executive role at PML LLC.

Weisberg (BSCEE ‘02) is a Construction Engineering and Management Program graduate with more than 20 years of industry experience. He joins PML LLC, an owners’ advisory firm in New York City, as the executive vice president and chief operating officer. In his role, Weisberg will guide PML LLC’s corporate strategy while overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations.

Weisberg began his career at PCL Construction in 2003. In 2006, Weisberg joined the Lendlease construction firm in New York City, where he worked as the senior vice president and operations director. During his time with Lendlease, Weisberg oversaw more than $1 billion in projects, including a 75-acre redevelopment project in New York City’s Riverside South and the 2 million-square-foot City Point complex in Brooklyn.

At PML LLC, Weisberg joins CEO and founder Peter Lehrer as construction booms across New York City. Lehrer, a renowned construction management expert, says Weisberg is the right person for the job to help him implement PML’s vision for the future of major developments. “Scott’s expertise, integrity and tireless commitment to advancing work for our clients will be instrumental in guiding our team’s growth for years to come,” Lehrer says.

PML LCC is presently consulting on major projects across New York City, including the New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport; the Port Authority Midtown Bus Terminal; a new supertall mixed-use project at 41 West 57th Street; the reconstruction of the Flatiron Building into high-end condominiums; and several projects at Columbia University and Barnard College.
