Chu Ma is an Assistant Professor and Grainger Institute Fellow within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Ma is an award-winning researcher whose work focuses on acoustic sensing and acoustic functioning materials. She leads the Acoustic Sensing and Functional Materials (ASFM) Laboratory at UW-Madison which explores systems and functional materials that solve fundamental challenges in acoustic sensing for biomedical imaging/treatment, non-destructive testing, and communication applications.
In this video profile, hear Ma talk about her students, her lab, and how the Wisconsin Idea drew her to UW–Madison.
