ECE Focus on Faculty: Dominic Gross

Assistant Professor Dominic Gross is an instructor and award-winning researcher within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Gross’ research within the areas of Optimization and Control as well as Energy Systems is focused on grid stability and control as the world shifts to renewable energy generation. As a faculty member of WISPO – Wisconsin Power Systems he works with other ECE faculty members, and graduate and undergraduate students to research electric power systems monitoring, optimization and control.
