Inaugural ISyE Student Research Symposium

Written By: Casandra Zimmerman

The ISyE department recently celebrated student innovation at its inaugural Student Research Symposium on May 1st. Bringing together undergraduate and graduate researchers, the event kicked off with a keynote lunch presentation by UW-ISyE alumnus Professor Raed Al Kontar (University of Michigan).

Following the keynote, Industrial Advisory Board members and guests engaged with students during a vibrant poster session highlighting cutting-edge research. The day wrapped up with two dynamic professional development panels aimed at preparing the next generation of engineers.

A huge congratulations to this year’s poster session winners for their outstanding work!
