The International Ergonomics Association will honor Robert Radwin, the Duane H. and Dorothy M. Bluemke Professor of industrial and systems engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with its fellowship award.

The award recognizes those who have made distinguished contributions—either theoretical or applied—to the field of ergonomics and human factors engineering. Radwin has an extensive track record of research examining the physiological and biomechanical aspects of work, including studying job design, equipment and human-robot collaborations. He is also a Discovery Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery.

The association, which is an international federation of ergonomics and human factors societies from around the world, will present Radwin with the award virtually during its triennial congress on June 18, 2021.
