This year’s event brought together scholarship recipients, faculty, and alumni donors for an evening dedicated to honoring academic achievement and a show of gratitude for the support that makes these scholarships possible. Family and friends of the scholarship recipients also joined. Jeff and Diane Roznowski and Dylan Bramstedt Ed Nawrocki and ISyE Chair Shiyu Zhou This year, 139 students received a total of $317,125 in scholarships, ensuring that these talented individuals can focus on their studies and research. Department Chair Dr. Shiyu Zhou welcomed attendees with remarks emphasizing the critical role of these scholarships in shaping the future of the department and the industrial and systems engineering field. The reception was highlighted by the attendance of several key alumni, donors, and a late donor’s family, including Jeff Roznowski, Dr. Narayan Venkatasubramanyan, Sari and Yehuda Karsh (family of the late Professor Ben-Tzion Karsh, namesake of the graduate scholarship in his honor), and Ed Nawrocki. These individuals have made significant contributions, providing both financial support and strategic guidance over the years. Their continued involvement remains a vital part of the department’s growth and success.
