October 2, 2024 Mehta leads list of honorees at annual conference Written By: Jane FELLER Departments: Industrial & Systems Engineering Categories: Awards|Faculty Professor Ranjana Mehta received the prestigious Jack A. Kraft Innovator Award at the annual conference of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) in September. This annual meeting, recently renamed ASPIRE, has a mission to “Advance Systems and Practices through Innovation, Research and Education.” This year’s event attracted nearly 2,000 attendees from academia, government, and industry. Mehta was joined at the event by 28 additional UW-Madison Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering conference contributors, with leading roles in 36 presentations, talks, posters, discussion panels, and workshops.
