Congratulations to the winners of the Spring 2022 Pi Tau Sigma awards!

On Wednesday, April 27, members of the Mechanical Engineering Pi Tau Sigma honor society gathered in Engineering Hall for a spring awards banquet. It was the first awards celebration convening for the group since 2019.

Student President Ethan Foley presented four teaching awards to instructors selected by the entire ME undergraduate student body. The awards went to:

Distinguished TA Teaching Award
Nathan Colgan
Michael Kwarta
Michael Mason

Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award
Kristofer Dressler

Fred Young, Jr., of Racine, WI and members of his family were able to attend the dinner to present the historic F.M. Young Outstanding Senior award. The 72nd recipient of the F.M. Young award distinction was Kate Concannon.

Congratulations to the awardees for all that you do for Mechanical Engineering and UW. Very best wishes to all who are graduating and to the continuing students taking on leadership roles with the group in fall 2022!
