On Wednesday, April 27, members of the Mechanical Engineering Pi Tau Sigma honor society gathered in Engineering Hall for a spring awards banquet. It was the first awards celebration convening for the group since 2019. Student President Ethan Foley presented four teaching awards to instructors selected by the entire ME undergraduate student body. The awards went to: Distinguished TA Teaching AwardNathan ColganMichael KwartaMichael Mason Distinguished Faculty Teaching AwardKristofer Dressler Fred Young, Jr., of Racine, WI and members of his family were able to attend the dinner to present the historic F.M. Young Outstanding Senior award. The 72nd recipient of the F.M. Young award distinction was Kate Concannon. Congratulations to the awardees for all that you do for Mechanical Engineering and UW.
