October 13, 2022 Radwin receives funding for collaborative ergonomics project Written By: JANE FELLER Departments: Industrial & Systems Engineering Categories: Grants UW-ISyE Professor Robert Radwin will be the Principal Investigator on a new grant, “A Computer Vision Lifting Monitor”. In collaboration with colleagues Yu Hen Hu from the UW-Madison Department of ECE, and Yin Li and Guanhua Chen from the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, Radwin will work to create a computer vision risk model for manual lifting and incorporate it into a prototype instrument. The instrument will then be evaluated in the field by colleagues from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Utah. The grant is funded by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
