The UW-Madison Engine Research Center hosted its biennial ERC Symposium June 15-16, 2022. This event focuses on topics that are current and relevant to the transportation, power generation, and internal combustion engine fields. Presentations are given by a range of experts from industry, academia, and national laboratories providing perspectives on technical, strategic planning, policy, and regulatory issues.

The 2022 Symposium, titled “Low Net-GHG Fuel and Engine Technologies”, focused on three areas: ‘Fuel sustainability’, ‘Low Carbon Fuel and Engine Technologies’, and ‘Engine and Systems Technologies’. The program agenda includes links to presentation slides from the talks.

Over 100 people attended the symposium in-person, with more joining online. Congratulations to Engine Research Center Faculty (Mechanical Engineering Professors David Rothamer (ERC Director), Jaal Ghandhi, Sage Kokjohn, Scott Sanders, and Mario Trujillo) and Staff on a successful event!
