Zhenhua Zhu

Mortenson Company Assistant Professor

Dr. Zhu received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2002 and Master’s degree in Computer Science and Technology in 2006. Both are from Zhejiang University, China. In 2011, he obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, and then worked in Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, as Assistant Professor from 2011 to 2016 and Associate Professor from 2016 to 2019. Dr. Zhu is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada. His research interests include visual sensing and anaylsis in construction, digital modeling, construction automation and robotics. He is the recipient of the 2013 ASCE Collingwood Prize and the Best Paper Award at the 2009 Construction Research Congress
