ISyE Undergraduate Advising Days

November 8, 2023 @ 11:00 AM 1:00 PM

Mid-Career white man explains something on a computer to two female asian students

All* undergraduate ISyE students are REQUIRED to come to one of three undergraduate advising sessions. Each session is dedicated to one (or more) of the ISyE focus areas. Faculty from that area will be present to talk to students about elective course options, graduate school, and careers in that area. It is recommended that students come to the session that best matches their interests, but they are welcome to attend any of the three sessions. The process should take 10-15 minutes per student.

Please be aware that this is meant to be a chance for students to chat with ISyE faculty about focus area courses and post-graduation plans. The faculty will NOT be reviewing DARS or checking degree plans; for questions about course scheduling and degree requirements, students should meet with their assigned Professional Advisor.

Note that Spring 2024 enrollment HOLDS will be placed on students who do not attend Advising Days.

*Requirement excludes seniors graduating this December, students on co-op, and students studying abroad.
