A paper co-authored by biomedical engineering PhD alumnus Jason Chiang, MD-PhD’16, Associate Professor Christopher Brace and other University of Wisconsin-Madison collaborators was selected as a Distinguished Laboratory Investigation by the editors of the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Chiang, who completed his PhD under Brace and is now in a diagnostic radiology residency program at UCLA, received the award at the Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation 2018 Annual Scientific Meeting in Los Angeles earlier this week. The award-winning paper was titled “Potential Mechanisms of Vascular Thrombosis after Microwave Ablation in an in Vivo Liver.”
