Teresa Adams, professor of civil and environmental engineering as well as the transportation management and policy program director for the National Center for Freight & Infrastructure Research & Education at UW-Madison, recently received the 2015 S.S. Steinberg Award, presented by the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA). Adams, whose research centers around decision support related to transportation infrastructure, received the award at an ARTBA Research and Education Division (RED) meeting in early January.

The award, named for the founding president of ARTBA RED, recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to various institutions in the field, such as academia and professional organizations.
