Tau Beta Pi is an engineering honor society with 257 collegiate chapters across the United States. The organization awards scholarships based on scholarship, campus leadership and service, and potential for future contributions to the engineering profession. Fardella is a senior from Shorewood, Wisconsin, while Lanczy is a senior from Pulaski, Wisconsin.
