May 1, 2025 Celebrating Innovation: Spring Poster Session and Design Awards Written By: Vishmaa Ramsaroop-Briggs Departments: Biomedical Engineering Categories: Awards|Community|Educational Innovation|Students|Undergraduate On April 25, we held our annual Spring Poster Session and Design Awards. Our talented students from BME 301 and BME 402 showed off their incredible prototypes to solve real-world biomedical needs submitted by clients, including individuals with specific challenges, faculty, industry, and medical professionals. It’s a hands-on, creative process that prepares them for tackling challenging problems in their careers. Since the BME Design Program began, many projects have been patented, published, or featured in the press. This year’s Design Awards celebrated our students’ creativity and hard work, showing how they turn ideas into impactful solutions. We’re so proud of their achievements and can’t wait to see what they do next!
