ECE’s Roper wins IEEE AP-S Fellowship

Third-year, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering PhD student Carissa Roper has been awarded a 2023 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship.  She was one of eight recipients at U.S. universities this year.  Roper’s funded research project is entitled TEM cell for real-time monitoring of pulsed microwave-induced thermoelastic tissue characteristics.  She is advised by Prof. Susan Hagness.
