Fall Design Undergraduate Poster Sessions Showcase Students Innovation

Our annual Undergraduate Poster Sessions are always a highlight of the semester. On December 5, rows of poster boards and the roar of enthusiastic discussion fill the Engineering Centers Building atrium as undergraduate students showcase months of hard work to solve real-world, client-based design problems.

This fall, four new faculty members experienced the event for the first time. “At first look, it seemed like many campus Research Day poster sessions that I had been to,” said Professor David Dean, one of the new faculty members. “However, what was extremely impressive was that it was the largest single department research day I have seen in my 31 years as a professor,” he added.
