Krishanu Saha, a professor of biomedical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is among 10 researchers touted by the science and healthcare media company STAT as leading the way in developing CRISPR-based therapies.
Saha’s work with CRISPR, a gene-editing toolkit, includes more safely producing CAR T cells to fight solid cancer tumors and developing new therapies for previously untreatable eye diseases.
