Mechanical Engineering Women+ In ME

Women+ in Mechanical Engineering (WME) is a mentorship and community program offered to marginalized genders including women, women-identifying individuals, and non-binary and gender non-conforming people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of women.

WME connects upper-level Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics students with first- and second-year students admitted to or interested in the Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics bachelor’s degree.  WME is designed to provide undergraduates in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with a sense of community, as well as with information for getting the most out of the department and college.

For more information, please contact WME Director – Professor Allison Mahvi (allison.mahvi@wisc.edu), or Co-Directors – Professor Kate Fu (kate.fu@wisc.edu) and Professor Corinne Henak (chenak@wisc.edu).
