Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a revolutionary medical device impacting 100 million people each year and is a rich field for applications in signal processing and machine learning. This talk will introduce the basics of MRI signal and spatial encoding, discuss a few signal processing advances to facilitate faster and more robust imaging, and present some of the opportunities and challenges for ML integration.
