Jun Wang, an associate scientist in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics, has been invited to join the editorial advisory board of the journal Thermal Science and Engineering Progress.
Wang’s research interests mainly focus on nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics and safety, including: nuclear power plant safety evaluation, accident tolerant fuels/cladding/coating, two-phase flow experiment and simulation, critical heat flux prediction, severe accident analysis, computational fluid dynamics, deep learning, data science for engineering, STEM education.
He has more than 50 publications of books, peer-reviewed journal articles, conference articles, and government reports in the areas of nuclear safety, accident tolerant fuels, and two-phase flow experiments.
Earlier in 2021, Wang was also invited to join the editorial board of the journal Annals of Nuclear Energy.
