Pamela Kreeger, an associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, has received a new research grant from the American Cancer Society.
Kreeger’s project will examine the efficacy of an existing drug against metastasis in ovarian cancer, building on findings she and members of her lab published in May 2018. Kreeger is also a member of the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
Support for the project comes from a fund created by former University of Wisconsin men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan and his wife, Kelly, through the Coaches vs. Cancer program.
