The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is an innovative and inclusive community focused on excellence in education and research.  Our faculty, staff, and students are working together to solve critical societal challenges in achieving sustainable electrical energy solutions, new technologies that advance human health, and enhanced security in our digitally networked world—just to name a few.  We live the Wisconsin Idea: that education should positively influence people’s lives far beyond the classroom.
