The current students who earned 2022 awards are:• Samuel Garcia (BSNE ’21), a graduate student in nuclear engineering• Joshua Gasick (BSME ’20), a graduate student in mechanical engineering• Unni Kurumbail, a graduate student in chemical and biological engineering• Angelica Lopez, a senior majoring in biomedical engineering• Thomas Nguyen, a senior majoring in electrical engineering• Aiden Ross, a senior majoring in materials science• Aaron Young, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering and computer science Alumni Cole Hullfish (BSChE ’20), Lewis Kunik (BSCMPE ’16), Meghan Meredith (BSIE ’20) and Eleanore Scheer (BSIE ’21) also received the honor, which provides three years of financial support (a $34,000 stipend and $12,000 education allowance) toward fellows’ graduate training. In addition, graduate students David Cole (chemical and biological engineering), Eric Stratman (industrial and systems engineering) and Robert Viramontes (electrical and computer engineering), undergraduate Ryan Kong (chemical engineering) and recent graduate Will Wightman (BSBME ’21) earned honorable mention status.
